Methodology

How a report is built

Each run resolves the company in SEC EDGAR, gathers evidence from the sources below, scores ten categories with published rubrics, and composes the 22-section report, the executive dashboard and an 18-table workbook. Every figure carries a source id that links to the registry.

Standards the engine enforces

  • Reported facts, derived figures (our arithmetic, with the formula shown) and market data are labelled separately.
  • Service providers are Confirmed only when a filing’s structured data, the EDGAR submission record or publication proves the relationship; text matches are Probable; technology fingerprints are Unverified.
  • Allegations (for example law-firm notices) are kept apart from confirmed findings and company disclosures.
  • Price reactions around events are measured, never attributed.
  • Valuation is withheld when revenue or peers are insufficient; no discounted-cash-flow model is invented.
  • A category with no usable evidence scores N/A and its weight is redistributed, so missing data never reads as poor performance.
  • Social follower counts and AI platforms other than Claude are reported as not measured rather than estimated.
